Hello I have a 2018 Ford F-150 XL. No power seats, so you can't raise the driver seat height. Only 5'7" and shrinking with age, I have tried one of those seat cushions but it changes the position of the lumbar on the seat back. Less than comfortable. Wondering if anybody has tried one of these kits? At first glance it looks like it might raise the seat base trim cover off the floor.

There use to me a member / vendor that sold similar kits, seemed they were popular. I recall people taking a bolt out, going to Lowes or Ace, getting longer bolts and a stack of washers as well.
I did thi s waaaay back in the 80's when I was in high school and short(er). Longer bolts and a 2x4. Probably should have been a steel bar but it worked.
