Raker height ?

I've cut a few rail road ties here and there over the years but this time I got a bunch to cut so I'm looking for opinions on the ideal raker height to cut ties.

I thought most former railroad ties were cut with 18" or larger circular saws or chain saws? IIRC they're fully impregnated with some sort of chemical preservative making cutting them semi-hazardous requiring eye and respiratory protection?

I've never heard of any health problems connected to cutting Railroad ties. They are hard though, so it makes me wonder what height would be the best.
