1974 f600 engine?
Welcome to FTE!
Did you just buy that that truck from someone in NH?

F60KVU21209
F60 = F600 2WD gas
K = 477 4V Super Duty gas V8
V = Kentucky Truck Plant
U21209 = 1974 numerical series ( edit: April 1974 production)
212 = 212 inch wheelbase
No color code, usually this means the color is part of the special order. Red is always on the menu, so maybe this was some different shade of red when new.
F601 = F600 2WD gas, 17,000 lbs GVWR
4 8 = Standard cab, I do not have upholstery info
A = New Process model 435 four speed transmission
No rear axle code, see above, special order Rockwell (Timken) model F-106, 5.83 ratio, probably 15,000 lbs capacity
2 = Ford front axle, 5,500 lbs capacity, without power steering.
17000 = 17,000 lbs GVWR
870187
87 = Body Compay (Fire equipment etc) (EDIT: U-haul)
0187 = Special order number.
This is an oddball. A 477 with that low GVWR, saddled with a NP435, but the Bonneville 5.83 gear. Sold to a body company--- Does it have some special body or equipment?
That would make a good flat land light load flyer. If it's topping out at 40 MPH, something is wrong.
Does this decode match up with what you see in the truck?
Beware widowmaker wheels BTW.
++++++++++++++++++++
It is the same truck.

All that said, your engine pictures are of an FT engine, a 330 or 361 2V. The Super Duty 401/477/534 were all 4 bbl carbs, and there are numerous other differences evident in pictures such as:
https://truckpartsinventory.com/parts/details/81496498
It could be an FE engine, based on looking at the exhaust manifolds. I need a side shot of the exhaust and a shot of the intake beside the carb to tell for sure on the FE vs. FT.
So....did you just buy this out of NH?

The casting numbers you posted--I can't make out the first digit.
I would be the year, followed by the month code, then the day, as explained here:
https://www.fordification.com/tech/datecodes.htm
EDIT:
Your other post seems to show "2M22", for 1972, December, 22nd day.

OK so you're the 3rd guy decoding this truck.
Can you shed some light on that?

Engine
Yes the truck came from NH. It’s the same one. And it does look like 330. Not a 477. I’ll get some more pictures tomorrow. Also how do I reply to individual questions. There is no reply button Do I have to reply to the entire thread.

Driver's side valve cover, there should be an engine identification sticker there. It looks like it's still intact, just covered in oil and muck. Wipe it off with a rag and see if you can still read it. That will tell you what the valve covers came off of, which will point you in the right direction.
It’s a 330 or 361 FT engine, commonly it would be a 330 in that light of a chassis but it has a reman replacement dated 4-85 so it could be either one,
only difference is the bore size
Last time I looked for a governor equipped Holley 2 bbl carb no one could get one, but a rebuild kit should be all it needs
with the governor disconnected I’d watch the rpm’s

My vote is a 330 either HD FT 2 barrel governed Holley dual thermostats dual fan belts FE style valve cover's.. The 401 477 & 534s big fat valve valve covers mechanical governor Not vacuum. Think it maybe another 'over time' who knows what was done. But being a former UHaul they were typical to have the 330 and strange tire sizes;;;
