Looks like a rot bucket to me!!

Just kidding.

Guys Andy is doing a really good job on this truck especially considering what he is starting with. He took the engine apart to make sure the innards looked good, replaced the gaskets, rebuilt the carb by himself and got the engine running. Pretty good for a guy who hasn't really done this kind of work before. He's pretty mechanically inclined, just like his old man and his grandpa. Grandpa Jones would have been real proud of you.

Nice looking truck. What are your plans for it? Total restore, or are you going to make modifications?

Well I did not get the engine painted today but I did get it ready to take to the car wash and blast the years of gunk off of it so maybe tomorrow if I get up early I can take it in and wash it.

I notice a couple of more problems with the truck today though I found out that all of my springs on my passenger side rear are cracked and need to be replace and I broke off an exhaust stud on the manifold.

About the springs does anybody know of any newer trucks or cars that you can get them out of or do you know of where I can get some for cheap. Please let me know.
