are you looking to increase capacity/strength or possibly get gear ratio that you desire? or just want to increase the options in your search

was going to just change gear ratio in f-1504x4 and was thinking of maybe getting complete axle from 250 if options were available for capacity,

Some folks have used the F250 D50 center section to beef up their F150 with a D44. I am not aware of the exact details. The rear axle is almost plug-n-play as long as you get a rear axle with the vehicle speed sensor in it. If you go that route then you will have different lug patterns front and rear. Not optimal. Swapping in the entire D50 is another challenge, but would net you the same 8 lugs on both ends.

What gear ratio do you want? You can put the Dana 44HD or Dana 50 center section in your front axle but not the traction beams. Installing the F-250 rear axle isn’t going to change the fact that you still have a 1/2T truck.
