Can we get any actual specs on the axles? Weight capacities? Torque maximums? Spline count, shaft diameter? Differences from previous model years?

What's different between the 9.75" and the HD axle used in the heavy payload package?

Engineer's Response

Thanks for sticking with us everyone, our apologies for the delay but here's what our engineers has to say:

"Main differences between 3.73 Light Duty vs Heavy Duty Axle are:

Axle Tubes: Different length (shorter than LD)
Axle shafts: HD = 35T spline, LD = 34T spline
Axle Diff Assemblies: HD = 35 tooth e-locker, LD = 34 tooth e-locker"
