SD injectors in an OBS

Hey guys I wanting to know what y’all think, I’ve got a guy that might be getting me AD injectors and a turbo from a 02 f250. Do think that will be a good upgrade or should I wait and get a new KC turbo and 205cc injectors.

Thanks

Well eventually I want to pull the engine and do a complete performance rebuild. But I’m wanting to make more power with out doing to much to the point of blowing the engine or spending a whole lot.

I wouldn’t waste time on super duty turbo. I also wouldn’t put super duty injectors in. They get worst fuel economy and require tunning to run. I have a truck with 160/30s and a modded stock obs turbo, feels pretty good. I’d wait till you got the coin, but I just try to avoid doing things twice

Ok that’s fair, that’s what a was leaning towards but I wanted a second opinion. Thank you!

what mods did you do to your turbo?

AD/30's would be recommended if you wanted a quiet injector that has great cold manors. How you drive the truck will have a larger effect on mpg than injector choice. Used injectors usually leave a lot to be desired.

Deleted pedestal, ebp deleted, 360 bearing and a down pipe which is probably the most important, also upipes gaskets if yours are leaking which probably are if they never been changed. Honestly pretty cheap parts that will let that turbo breathe and sing a little better.

we have single shots and 15 degree HPOP
SD uses double shots and 17 degree HPOP (more volume)

can get tunes but then its trying to do something that the 15 degree HPOP might not be able to feed on full throttle
