Ok on my 2000 basically stock 2wd f250 my ic boot on driver side top keeps blowing off the pipe. I have put back at least 8 times, new cnc fab boots and clamps. What gives is the pipe bent?
Not sure of your method, but the #1 thing is clean. Clean the boots with either brake cleaner or Dawn dish soap, tubes as well. Clean, clean, clean. If you're looking for a little extra kick, some folks will hit them w/ a spritz of spray adhesive or hair spray (does that stuff still exist? Been so long I'm unsure), just before mating. Then torque the ”T” bolt to spec, or a 1/4 turn before stripping the threads, your call.

definitely tightened it down. I will spare with brake cleaner next time. I was curious if you could put a wrap of friction tape and hit with some starting fluid before you put boot on. Ik that’s how I would always get the grips to stay on dirt bike or atv

Not sure if you could get the desired 100% seal w/ friction tape in the mix.
I also grew tired of the IC tubes/boots blowing off, even after cleaning with brake cleaner. I ultimately solved it by drilling a hole in the SS clamp, then running a self tapping screw through that hole, through the rubber boor and into the metal IC tube, never have had it come off again. I used a self tapping screw with a metal/rubber grommet under the screw's head.

Thats a new one.
Clean 'em. I can hold 30psi with no fancy stuff, stock IC & tubes with Riff Raff boots, clamps and plenum inserts.

Starter fluid has some lubricant in it. At least some of them do. Got that award after cleaning a transmission with it and painting, only to find the paint curl. Then read the can, “with upper cylinder lubricant.” Oops. Brake cleaner is what I use when I want something to be clean now.
Have a welding shop put a bead on the end of your CAC tube. That sucker will hold tight after that.
This is what I did when I installed my T4 kit.
The welds, clean surfaces (brake cleaner), good clamps and boots. I have not had one boot blow off in 4+ years of running the T4 kit and boost PSI of 35+ at times. Once the boots and clamps are in place on clean surfaces, perform a few low pressure heat cycles of the engine. This will marry the surfaces together for the most part and you should be good to go. Check and recheck the clamps a few times after reinstalling everything.
I had problems blowing stock one off. Bought a riff raff boot kit just the boots no clamps and cleaned everything good with brake cleaner and used hair spray on them and haven't had one blow off in 3-4 years since. 30# of boost.
I put hair spray on mine about 10 years ago, all good. The other day I checked the can of hair spray and it was still good but I'll probably never need it.
Have you checked the orientation of the boot? There's a small ridge on the boot that holds the IC pipe in place, seen many put on backwards and having that problem, that's if yours are the stock ones.
