&^#*@# battery saver

I love my 13 5l 150 except for the battery saver crap. I've unhooked the wire from the ittle ring on the negative battery terminal side. It still shuts off after 20-30 minutes, says audio off low battery . The truck will crank over like normal after a few of these audio shutoff. Driving me crazy, any solutions to getting rid of this nonsense?

I haven't yet but you would think if it was an alternator issue that it would be cranking slow. I do have a multimeter I can check it & see .

Get a battery tender, mine was doing that until I started putting it on the tender and de-sulfonating the battery and mine never had the smart charge or what ever it is called because I have the 6.2. Now it will go for an hour or so but if you listen with the key on it is still only 1/2 hour. I wish my Mustang would let me listen to the radio with the keys out of the ignition.
