Put some tape on to protect the paint and use a plastic pry tool?
And then how do I get my hand up to get the barrel nuts on?
I think I can reach the front 2 but not the back one.
The barrel nuts insert from the outside. The emblem pushes into them, also, from the outside....so you are correct. You may not need to replace the nuts if the emblem comes out cleanly.
So the barrel nuts push into the fender sheet metal then, the emblem pushes into the barrel nut/clips?
The pins on the emblems are 1/4 in.
