Fender Emblems
I want to replace the Twin I Beam fender emblems with a nicer pair that I snagged off eBay (for $8 
). I could sure use some tips as to how to get the old ones off without damaging my paint. Suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have had success removing from the front by using a stiff wedge type tool and started at one corner then working around the emblem as needed. If at salvage yard, on number of occasions used a screw driver. Just need to take your time.
