SES Light After Downpipe Replacement

Early 1999 (8/98) F350 4x4 Crew, 7.3 Power Stroke turbo, 4R100, 243k

I replaced the downpipe on my truck and now have a constant SES light. I installed a Diamond Eye 4" aluminized downpipe from Riffraff. Truck seems to be running well enough, lots quieter.
All connections removed were properly replaced. I did disconnect the batteries. I removed the passenger side intercooler pipe and replaced it as I found it. I've only put about 12 miles on it thus far.

Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

Chris

Without using a scan tool and software like FORScan Lite, we are simply shooting in the dark.

Helpful links, especially the Q&A:

FORScan
As for shooting in the dark, what about the MAP sensor above the blower fan box on the passenger side, is it plugged in? What about the MAT sensor on the spider, did it get bumped or broken? Check the UVCH connectors at the middle of each valve cover. Did you lean on anything and maybe break a connector?

I was also going to the MAP as my first thought. Good idea about the MAT.

I will guess you have something disconnected. A scan tool could point you there quickly but we can help too.

My request to help us help you, photos of the engine compartment. Overall, around turbo, spider, over passenger valve cover.

The MAP connection on the passenger side is crunchy, I fixed it place with zip ties. Sounds like a good place to start, and I'll look into replacing the entire harness if it's available. I don't recall contact with the UVCH connections, but I'll check those as well. My inspection sticker is up at the end of this month.

Thanks for the responses, I'll take some pics of the EC tomorrow.

Did I finally find a nearby WV buddy?
Send me a PM once you have enough posts (I think it takes 10).

The MAP connection issue has been resolved, that was my SES issue. Thanks to Sous and RacinJasonWV for the direction.
