hi--i have an issue with my 2020 F 250, gasser and am looking for some feed back on a solution.
We have been pulling a toy hauler since 5/1---about 12,000 miles across the eastern US. A week ago when we were parked at a campsite the alarm went off about 11:52 PM for several minutes and then went off. I did get a notice on my FORD app regarding an intrusion. Same thing happened the next night at 11:26. Also received an alarm on the FORD app.
Local Ford dealer was unable to look at it but suggested I disconnect the negative from the battery. I did that the next day. Two days after this we were parked locally and the alarm again went off. I was inside a store and rushed out and opened the door and silenced the alarm.
Checked the battery went we returned and it was 14.72 v.
Any ideas on what to do next?
Change your alarm settings to perimeter. You most likely have an insect crawling/flying around inside your cab at night which triggers the interior motion sensors.
OK. First question that pops to mind is why was your truck running in a campsite close to midnight? And if you had remote started it before the alarm sounded, and anyone or a pet was inside, their movement could still set off the motion sensor. Happened to me when I left my stepson in my truck while I went inside a business to pick up a pizza ... after exiting the truck, I remote started it to keep the AC blowing and lock the doors. His movement caused my alarm to sound.

He was responding to my question on when he checked battery voltage. His voltage seemed high to me, sure enough it was a running voltage. He'll need to check with the engine off if battery health in question.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I see it now after I went back and re-read the posts.
