Replaced the battery on my 2000 V10 LTD a few days ago, and now it won't start unless I arm and disarm the alarm with the remote. Is there a way to reset the alarm, or am I stuck going to the dealer? Has this happened to anyone????

 

Is this an aftermarket alarm?

The Excursion never came with an alarm from the factory...
