4WD problems

I’ve worked on the system off and on for the last few years. Everything checks out fine except absolutely can not get power running through it. The only thing I can come up with is maybe the 4WD box behind the glove box or a broken wire that I can’t find.
Enough is enough. Less than $100 in parts, many hours of fabrication on homemade linkages and refabrication of parts and my 4WD now works.
Get out of the truck, lock the hubs, shift the floor shifter into 4WD and go. I love it. Now it shifts like every other one I’ve ever driven.
I’m a happy camper.
Thanks for y’all’s help but I just got tired of hunting and finding nothing.
