I have a 07 250 6.0 with 146K miles. Recently it developed a thumping sound that sounds like it's coming from right behind the driver seat. I have put additional supports under the jump seats, removed everything that isn't nailed down, been underneath checking and pulling on everything. Took the rear shocks loose to see if they had gone bad. Has anyone else run into this problem. It gets very irritating after a while. Thanks.
S&B silicone mounts -- take the truck thru a place that will twist the body some, like a driveway entrance or crossways (45 degrees) to a speed bump
if the mounts are bad the twisting of the body will make all sorts of interesting sounds
check your anti roll linkage, when they wear out, they clunk
I forgot about that. Mine was doing it until I got a new set of front bushings for the bar.
They are easy to put in being a split bushing that you just slip over the bar and two bolts for each
clamp that holds them in place.
I have not had to do a rear set yet. I think they are more or less the same thing.
I looked and the cab mount bushings look deteriorated. Is this a fix i can do myself ? If so, is there something in the Tech manual that has a "how-to"? Thanks again for the help.

Lots of videos on You Tube. Check the video on S&B site, yes you can do it yourself with some effort. Note that S&B will not warranty if you do it yourself according to their site. I ordered a set and will have them installed as i have no flat driveway, and it will be over 100 degrees here for the foreseeable future. I will do a lot on my own but not willing to roast to do it.
