I don't mean to hijack this thread but thought this would be the right place to go. Here is my question, new to the PM love it too, but 9 out of 10 times I start the truck, my phone app won't connect to the PM, I have to push the button on the back to reconnect, then I get another security code that doesn't allow me to paste it, then it will work. I called Banks and they didn't know, but would installing an iDASH take care of this issue? Phone is four years old, just hoping the direct connection with iDASH will solve my problem.

Pedal monster by Banks............in other words, can I add an iDash to my truck after I already have the Pedal Monster installed? Cannot find out if possible unless I call Banks

I don't see why not... and I don't work for Banks but you can control the Pedal Monster through the iDash once it's installed...
On their software update page for the iDash here, under notes it says,
Yes, plugs right into the back of the iDash, then the iDash plugs into the OBD port. You will need to order the extension cable that plugs the PM to the idash, then the OBD connects to the iDash. You might order this over the phone instead of online and they may be able to set up up with the idash and extension without the OBD cable and save a few $. You then can control the PM via the iDash. Also down the road if you get a Derringer, it will plug into the PM.
Ok, thanks guys. I keep having a hard time getting my phone to pair up to the PM via the app, plus I needed an excuse to order the idash, it seems really cool.
Installed IDash Nov 2022 on 22 450. All was well until two days ago. Started to have the exact issues listed in this thread. Worked for almost 4 months perfectly and now it is hit or miss on Operation. Will be calling Banks tomorrow but it appears to be a 22 truck issue. I have the 1.23 version software. Not sure if a new unit will make a difference.
Just checked the Release Notes for the 1.24 update. Wonder what the "other minor improvements" encompass? Wish there was more detail (such as any bug fixes).
I'm not having any issues with mine at this time, so not sure if it's worth updating the firmware. I reckon I'll wait to see if others report any significant benefits.
Update on my post yesterday. Called Banks and the rep was very helpful. Had me reset and configure a few items. I had changed sensitivity to low which was not good. He suggested the high or medium setting. Guage is working today so far. Told me to upgrade firmware if it happens again and to call back if that doesn't fix the issue.
Very helpful phone call.

I had a problem with my iDash in the past with it not turning on... the wake up sensitivity was set too high. I keep it in low now... works great but again, mine's a 16.
I'm very new to the iDash, got it yesterday, installed today and it has the latest firmware (from Banks), so far all is good......now to try and choose what gauges I want to see.
