5r110 range sensor bad?
Rebuilt the transmission and it ran great for almost a year and then began to have some shifting issues and torque converter exploded.
Pulled transmission and took it all apart cleaned it up, changed the center support and a brand new oem ford pump and another new converter. Internal assembly went fine all the clutches were in great shape.
Back in the truck it runs and moves. Now it won't shift correctly, monitoring the shifts on both the edge insight and on forscan I see it's very delayed manually shifting thru gears and sometimes won't shift at all.
Manually shift from d to 3 the edge is flash park for a second then finally 3rd. Shift 3rd to 2nd same thing, edge says im in park wait and it will shift 2nd.
shift 2 to 1 works fine. Sometimes you can shift thru and it will work perfect but most times it won't
P2702 p2701 also has 2 solenoid codes for same od and intermediate, i dont have with me at the moment
Before the converter exploded it had the same symptoms, which im guessing the screwy shifting contributed to the converter failure. Im confident the internal rebuild is fine, everything checked out.
I did change solenoinds again, could it be as easy as bad solenoid or did I actually mess up internally.
