Installed the H&S Intercooler pipe upgrade kit and now I'm getting a P007D CEL. The pipe is on good and the truck runs well other than the CEL and white soot on my tailpipes. I've checked the following: 1) Swapped the IAT (Incoming Charge Air Temp Sensor) - no difference. 2) Tested the old IAT with a hair dryer (works fine with resistance dropping as it heats up). 3) Truck wiring - get ground (0 volts) on one pin and 4.96V reference on the other. 4) Scan tool cleared the code and comes back after restart showing -39C on IAT1 and IAT2 when looking at data. Contacted H&S and they say they've never seen this and to let them know what I find out (less than helpful). Do the wizards on the forum have any ideas? Getting ready to swap back to OEM pipe to see if it goes away...
Put the stock Intercooler pipe back on and still throwing same code. Shows IAT1 and IAT2 have -39C temp. Could the two sensors have a ground problem at the ECU? Both have good ground at the sensors themselves. 4.97V reference at IAT1 and 4.76V at IAT2 on the MAF sensor which I believe holds the IAT2 sensor also.
