I have a good friend of mine who decided to go a different route and sell his DPF delete pipe he purchased. <style type="text/css"> BODY,.aolmailheader {font-size:10pt; color:black; font-family:Arial;} a.aolmailheader:link {color:blue; text-decoration:underline; font-weight:normal;} a.aolmailheader:visited {color:magenta; text-decoration:underline; font-weight:normal;} a.aolmailheader:active {color:blue; text-decoration:underline; font-weight:normal;} a.aolmailheader:hover {color:blue; text-decoration:underline; font-weight:normal;} </style>Its brand new, in sitting in his garage. He took a grinder to it and smoothed down the rough edges in the ends of the pipe and painted it with high temp black paint. He is asking $200 for the pipe.
I guess what I want to know is, should I be looking for a specific diameter pipe or brand that works best with the Spartan of SCT depending on what I choose to run with? Is there different options on various pipes? I just purchased the BANKS exhaust system so when the truck is back from the shop I will be installing that as well. If I buy this one I want to make sure it will work and is a good buy. Thanks for the help.
If you are going SCT, they make their own delete pipe. I would go with that, since they were engineered to go together. I don't know truly if it matters that much, but I like to match things up.
