Lock trouble
Hi all,
my new to me F350 6.4 diesel is giving me a little trouble with the locking system.
I bought a remote for it, and did the whole procedure, unlock the doors, the position 1, 3 8 times aaaaaaaannnnd nothing. Locks don't acknowledge it's in programming mode. Did it about a dozen times. Door open, door closed, doesn't matter. never touched the brake pedal.
Then I read about the autolock procedure in the manual. turn the key to 3, press unlock 3 times, then key to position 1 and unlock 3 times... at some point it's supposed to honk, it never did.
I'm starting to think it's more than a procedure issue.
Any way to check the module or a fuse to make sure the locking modules is working properly? any known issues with them?
