The 07 f450 6.0 that I recently purchased has a smoke issue. At idle there is no smoke.under load it doesn't appear to smoke.from a stop and upon acceleration it let's put a big puff of smoke and that's it.kinda odd to me.this is the first time in several years it's ran and today was the first time I drove it since I've had it.the truck had bad diesel when I got it ,the tank and all filter housing were drained and cleaned however the lines were not.could I have injector problems or am I just blowing out the old junk?
Really need to drive it a little more to get all those fluids moving around a bit if its sat for a long time.
If it was me I'd get a known good fuel system cleaner that's safe for a turbo and run it through at least a tank. Also make sure to make note of all your fluids
current levels and watch them to see if they go down indicating somethings mixing or burning that shouldn't be.
I put the truck on the forscan and found several DTC,two of the codes were for the numbers 7 and 5 cylinders combustion/balance.whata the most common reason for p0281 and p0275?

Could be several different things. I'd start small.
Again I'd run a tank of fuel through it & cleaner and try to clean out the combustion chamber and plugs. Then
I'd check plugs, install new ones if theirs a question of last time changed or blow bye or plug tip corrosion. Then I'd try
swapping coil packs around and see if the problem follows to the other cylinders. Indicating a bad coil.
EDIT- Diesel, disregard that info, not to good with diesels.

What color of smoke? Black? Does it lack power from a stop? If this is the case black smoke and a lack of power from a stop are common signs of low boost or slow building of boost in relation to fuel delivery. On a 6.0 the most common cause is a stuck turbo unison ring. If the truck has been sitting it is very likely the unison ring has seized in place. You will have to pull the turbo off the truck, disassemble the exhaust side and clean the housing to get the unison ring free.
As for your codes. Any noticeable misfires? Your two codes are contribution/balance faults for cylinders 5 and 7. They mean at some point the PCM has seen that those two cylinders were not contributing evenly with the other cylinders. I would clear the codes and drive it to see if they return.
The color is white/ blueish color. I did a KOER forscan, no misfire was detected.the #5 was a new DTC ,the #7 is a return after codes were cleared.Going by the inspection sticker the last time this truck ran was in 2019.I am hoping these issues are just related to its sitting up for a long time, I've run it at idle in the driveway and only took it for a mile or two test run down the road and that was more for me to feel the transmission. are the injectors on the 6.0 rebuildable by the home mechanic?

I appear to have over or about 20 psi of boost at 40mph.I will confirm that psi next time I drove it as I just glanced at the boost gauge.
