Door locks
Hey Fellas,
Haven't spent much time in this particular forum, but....
I just picked up a '91 F150.
Have a bunch of little issues, but first off I'm having door lock problems.
The truck has electric door locks. The first time I pushed the button on the drivers side, the locks worked fine. When I checked the passenger side controls, nothing. Re-checking the drivers side, nothing. Just a fuse, maybe? I haven't had time to check much yet.
Also, I was given 1 ignition key only. I noticed that this old truck has separate keys for doors & ignition. Does anybody know if there would be a key fob available for remote lock/unlock on a truck with electric locks like this?
It looks like I either need the doors re-keyed or a key fob or both.
Anybody have any quick & dirty tips for me that could help figure out how to lock this thing properly?
