Hey guys I own a 2002 F-350 7.3 auto with 108,000 miles on it. Bought it off a old man who used it to go to lake to fish so after 19 years phrior to becoming my old reliable I decided to replace the glow plugs, injectors (swamps 175) turbo back exhaust and CAI. (yes I know I didn’t need to do those things but I’m planning on running this thing for as long as I can
Recently parked the truck for a few weeks due to bidennomics supporting $6.25 gal diesel. I started the truck up a couple times during that time no issues. Yesterday and today I started the truck and noticed check engine light was on looked to my edge CT3 monitor and said no codes present. I cleared the code and was using the truck and it stalled several times when slowing to stop at red lights and stalled in neutral going through car wash. I’m gonna change fuel filter see if that resolves the issue but hoping to see what you guys have experienced. Thanks
Turns off like if I killed the motor but shift to neutral and fired right back up no issue….. if I’m slowing down to light seems like the rpm’s might be slightly higher and then will drop down and start to sputter then turn off
Start by checking the engine harness where it usually rubs on the drivers side valve cover. Check the tin nut on your icp while there. Then get forscan and chart some pid's. Ipr, icp, cps, ect. Then get this thread moved to the 7.3 forum for some sound advice, not some wag about your cai.
