Get over it! You bought a brand new truck, it does suck but thats why it has a warranty! Let them fix it and go on down the way. I would be happy it gets fixed under warranty. Could be worse, it could break on a trip, or 5k outside of warranty. 2 weeks of down time is nothing and thats for anything. I got a john deere dozer and they are backup 2-4 weeks just to look at it. That goes for every brand ram, chevy ford, etc.
thats right..you tell him....so what our trucks cost 80k+....you dont like mechanical noises...crank up the radio.
my ;local dealer doesnt do warranty repair work.....if they give you an apt , its only to appeases you.. the appt will be rescheduled every 90 days and cancelled after the 3rd reschedule.
I ordered a new F-350 Lariat back in October. Finally 7 months later on May 13th it arrived at the dealer which was great as we were to head to Michigan the end of May pulling our Fifth Wheel. It did not come with the Spray in bedliner or the Fifth Wheel prep that I ordered. Not a big deal as I can get that added. As I was driving the truck that week trying to get the 1000 miles on it before we tow there was a slight humming noise coming from under the truck when I got above 60 mph. Anyway I took it back to the dealer and they have now had it for 2 weeks waiting on parts. They are saying that they have to order some kind of bearing for the driveshaft and rebuild the rear end. I am sick. I traded in a perfect 2017 F-350 with only 40,000 miles on it. When I told them that I want my old truck back it turns out that it has sold. I paid $81,000 for this truck and the dealer has had it more than I have. Sorry about the Rant!
But if you're not Happy, which dwarf are you ?
*drum fill*
But seriously, why would you trade in an F350 with only 40k miles on it for another F350?
Reading these makes me think fixing up my 2012 is not that bad of an idea now. While I was reassembling the passenger side spindle and getting ready to put the seal on the axle, found the U-joint is bad. The front end will now have all new parts save for the differential itself. I planned to trade this in once the 22 was built, but having second thoughts since I will replace 2 trucks with one. I cannot go without having a vehicle since I live in the country and there IS no public transportation here! Coupled with the removal of the MultiContour seats, think I will hang onto what I have now. OP stick with it, it sucks having to wait on parts, but at least it isn't a GM waiting on DEF parts, you wouldn't see the truck for months if that were the case.
You got no one to blame but yourself for trading in a truck before you got another one.
That was not a smart move in life.
Trading in a vehicle pretty much means that you give up the old one to get the new one. I don’t believe that dealers usually let you keep the old one until you’re happy with the new one.
Wouldn't it be great to hang onto the old truck for a few weeks and still get the tax break and money towards the new truck at the same time! Anyone know of any dealers who do that?

I hear ya and you have every reason to be pissed..
Man am I happy i didn't trade in my 2017, I was so close to take there offer, they was going to give me 46K on mine for a trade in for a 2022! My truck has 38K miles on it. I ended up walking away.

I’m trading my 2020 350 Lariat with 10,000 miles in on a 2022 350 Platinum. Got X-Plan on new truck, $2500 PCO and great trade value on 2020. It will cost me $800 plus my trade. For $800 I get a 2 year newer truck with 2 more years warranty, and go fro Lariat to Platinum. The only down side is I needed to purchase 5th wheel prep kit ($650) and pay to get it installed.

I’m in the same boat. Except mine was leaking trans fluid from the tail of the transfer case three days after I got it home. Three weeks and two dealers later finally got it looked at, thought it was just a bad seal. Not the case the driveshaft was defective and out of balance so it took out the seal and bearing on transfer case. So now it’s been in the shop for a week and the driveshaft is on back order with no eta on when it will come in. But not to worry they gave me an eco sport as a loaner, that will pull the camper just fine. I feel your pain.
