The last few weeks I have been getting the Red FUEL FILTER light. I have installed 3 new filters they are all clean when removed so I started thinking I have a fuel pressure issue. The truck started loosing power on the interstate yesterday till it finally gave out. I had it towed back to work. When I crank it it does not sound normal at all, Kicking and bucking. I'm thinking IPR Sensor. Any thoughts? TIA!
the red fuel filter light is illuminated from the vacuum switch on the driver side of the fuel bowl, my WAG is either fuel pump or clogged pickup screen.
I would start by removing the filter and cranking the engine and see how long it takes to fill the filter bowl.

Today it's EC135P2+ in the GOM. I have worked BO's, BK's at the factory starting back in 1983. Overhauled more LTS101's than I care to mention. Astars. in Alaska(Tours). My IA is current as well I guess I'll let it go in a few years when I turn 65. Good luck and thanks again! BTW the Nut holding the Banjo fitting was a beast.

I made a wrench for the banjo bolt and use assembly fluid 1 for the washers. I retired in 2019 didn't need the bs of utility.
who are you working for in the Gulf?
