Weird issue starting

94 f240 psd manual 4x4 if i switch key on and wait for wts light to go off it starts fine but cel is on....
if i just jump in turn the key DO NOT WAIT for wts light to go off it still starts but will do a rough idle then clear up and the cel DOES NOT COME ON

only things ive done to truck intake, down pipe, ebvp delete, and ts 6 position chip

any ideas or nothing to worry about??

Have you tried reading the codes to see what's causing the light to come on?

no i need to find a way to read them the plug under dash on passager side of dash wont read anything.....

Only a select few scanners can read these trucks. Forscan being the most common one. You just need a cheap Bluetooth obd connector and the app

...and being an early truck means you may not be OBD2 compliant, just OBD2 ready. If you have a chip of any sort, this puts the latest factory flash on the PCM.

If you did not buy the dead end connector when you did ebpv delete you will get cel. Call Clay at Riff Raff and tell him you did the delete and you need the plug to keep light off
