Can an ignition conversion kit burn out if resistor wire from ignition to coil is bad. Or if the coil, plugs, wires or cap goes bad?????

Conversion kit

I guess he would actually be called the ballast I called it a resistor wire because it only allows a certain amount of voltage to go Through the Wire from the key to the coil. So if that wire goes bad or the spark plugs go bad or the coil go bad or the cap goes bad will it burn out the conversion kit.

If the resistor wire is OPEN, then you would have no spark, but it shouldn't hurt the ignition box. I don't think it can fail and pass too much voltage, so I'd say no.
Bad plug or wires shouldn't hurt it either.
