Lightbulb steering stabilizer upgrades?

I work at a bus agency using ford e450 buses that have the same steering setup as my 84, except for one thing: the steering stabilizer. I've looked into cost for the frame-mounted bracket, and its not crazy expensive. I havent looked at price for the other parts, but what i'm wondering is if the center link for the steering (from pitman arm towards the passenger side) from the 2017 where I'm seeing the brackets would fit and mate up to the 84 pitman arm and other linkages? it would be the best way to ensure the steering shock mounts in the right spot on the center link. does anyone have experience with this upgrade?

What is it going on
You would need to measure the distance between the 2 trucks to see if the parts will even fit as 1 truck may be wider than the other.
Then look into the thread sizes as 1 could be bigger dia. but I am thinking the newer would have metric threads.
Then if that was not enough if you are going to replace any of the tie rod ends / joints is the tapper the same between them?

I dont know what makes you think you need a steering stabilizer but they make ones that bolt on to trucks that never came with them.

the reason for the stabilizer is to minimize the bump steer these setups are prone to. Even our 2017 buses have noticeable bump steer, but it’s a lot more controlled than my other truck, an 86 f350. I’m working on doing a ton of maintenance that my 84 hasn’t had in 20 years, as well as any upgrades that will help my truck in modern traffic, so I’ll be replacing the steering linkages regardless.
