I went to install new locks on my truck just to discover I’m missing a rod on one of the doors. Does anyone know where to source one? I have spare clips just need the rod. Easy enough to make one but I’d rather have an OEM part
If I were home and not thousands of miles away I have a few sitting around from parts trucks. I would mail it to at no cost, I’m sure someone else on here is willing to do the same, I would hope
I appreciate that. I made one today but its a bit thinner so the clip on the bottom is dodgy given it requires that little groove to pinch onto. I have a makeshift clip substitute but I'll have to add a dab of JBweld to ensure it stays on there. So needless to say I'd much prefer an OEM option!
You can fill out the form and request pricing. I have bought many things through the vendors that list their parts through RearCounter and PartsVoice. Prices can be all over the map, so check all sources, but I have gotten great deals at times.Bear in mind, many vendors do not update often, so the parts could be long gone
Where did you find one of these. I made a new thread today trying to track one down, I've been looking all over and was going to make one but feel like I'll end up in the same boat with it only working halfway.
