I have an 87 bronco with the efi300 and a manual transmission, the head is cracked and I found a 302 out of a 95 f150. I was hoping someone could assist me in figuring out if the bellhousing will work so I know if I need an adapter. Any and all help is very much appreciated!
Yes, they share the same bellhousing, along with the 351w V8.
Your biggest issues will be the perches that the engine bolts to. I went from a 302 to a 300 and had to cut off the V8 perches and bolt on ones for a 300.
You'll also need some other things, like a new radiator, since the ports are on different sides.
It'd probably be much easier to just get a new head for the 300. It's a bit of work to go from the I6 to a V8.

I have to buy a new head and the motor has a bunch of miles already. I found new motor mounts to swap it. The used motor has less miles and I've seen it run plus I like the way they sound. I appreciate the quick response!
