I’ve got a couple of auxiliary “work lights” made in Taiwan for my rear bumper. There is just a couple of wires hooked to them: one (1) white and one (1) black. I get that the white is positive and black is negative.
My question is: can I connect the two white (positive) wires together at the rear of the EX or do I have to run two wires all the way to the fuse block?
Thanks.
You can connect the two together just fine. Just make sure the single wire you use to power them is rated for the combined amperage both lights draw (same goes for the ground wire for that matter).

Just run the wires however makes the most sense, equal length isn’t important.
Sure, there is a resistance value per foot ( or whatever measurement of length you want to use) of wire, but it’s so small that you’d have to wrap one wire completely around your Excursion a few hundred times before you’d notice that one light was slightly dimmer than the other , and that would be the only result anyway.
