I've been watching my driving habits closer. Trying to avoid rapid acceleration, coasting toward stops, etc.
Life racing by...the "go-go-go" world we live in...I appreciate the slower pace.
The only other tip I have is to slowly roll up to stoplights hoping it changes before you have to stop.
What really vacuums is that Russian oil, I heard, is only 3% of what we use. I guess I don’t need to point out
who is applying leverage to the screw. None of our beloved public servants have the cajones to call
out the oil companies. Why did diesel soar so high? It was less than premium for a long time. Suddenly the cheapest oil to make
goes psycho. I doubt seriously that their additives are slim in supply and justify the obscene price hike.
How is everyone doing with their Ex and these current fuel prices? With the v10, I really have not found a way to save fuel outside of being light on the peddle.
So my question to you all is… what cost saving measures has you found that works for you. I would love to hear your thoughts?
I have a V10 as well and I never got more than 12.5 mpg but I still love it. I only drive it when I go somewhere that I need it’s capabilities for. Unless I’m off road I keep the tires at 50psi, a little harsher ride but saves gas.
My daily driver is a Tesla so I think they just balance each other out. 😂
I won't be excited until it's $1.19 again (so, probably never lol). I loved when premium was so cheap that it was almost stupid to NOT use my 93 tune. I look back now and laugh at the fact that when regular hit $2/gal I was like "putting in the 87 tune, 93 is getting expensive." What I'd give for $2.60 premium again...
Just took my annual trip to a car show in Tennessee from Miami and back. Saw Regular prices all over the place from high $3.xx to mid $4.xx. I pass 2 Buc-ee's in Ga, make a point to stop there to get gas One time I almost didnt make it.
