My daily driver is a 5.0 F150 4x4. Found gas at $3.72 at Costco yesterday (everywhere else around is at least $3.99). 29.5 gallons was $115. But it's still cheaper than driving and filling the Excursion.
I take the Ex on a spring trip every year and burn about $500 in gas. Looks like it's going to be double that this year.....
Amen Brother! I was around during the 70s, and remember everybody letting muscle cars go because we thought the sky was falling. I let a killer 429 Mustang go for cheap. What a mistake. God willing that isn't' going to happen with the Ex.
Most in the RV business have been waiting for the market to reset due to Covid being almost over and the non real campers will get tired of the payments and cost of fuel. These issues may bring that on a year or 2 early. Soon should be some great deals on RVs for sale for a lot less than last year. When they figure out this chip issue on trucks and high diesel fuel might reset the cost of these big trucks too. Insane that they are getting some of these prices.

You're right they were giving those RVs away, no actually they would pay you to take it off their hands. As for camping our family went to our favorite spot in the desert South West in 2020 only to blown be away by the crowds.
