Okay we bought this truck got 37,000 original miles but the fuel pump wasn't on it so I have no reference of what it was like we bought a Carter M3553 it does not make contact do the camshaft to make it pump the number on the Block is C1AE-6015-K I believe is the numbers on a block I'm a determined is supposed to be a 223 so I am trying to find a pump to work on it thank you any help would be very grateful

Just throwing this out there, Look in the hole, with a mirror and see if there is a cam in there, it may have been left off during assy. by accident or intentionally if they intended to use an electric pump.

223 doesn't have an eccentric, the pump arm runs on a cam lobe.

Ok by the casting numbers on the block is C1AE-6015-K from what I've seen on line is that is a 223 in line 6 cyl . An by plate on glove box door says truck was built in Nov of 1960 and built in Norfolk Virginia
