As long as you don't have 17.5 rims on your 4x4, you can use the 2wd fenders. The parts books list 2 fenders, one for 15" & 16" wheels (C2TZ 16005 &6-E)and another for the 17.5 and 19.5 wheels ( C2TZ 16005 &6-D) There's no mention of 2wd or 4x4, it matters on the rim size as I listed.

they are not the same fenders. I have a 62 f100 4X4 also and when i bought it there was 1 2wd fender and 1 4wd fender. I noticed this when my dad and i were putting the front mud flaps on. I also know that the 4wd and the 2wd ones are different becase the guy who i bought it from also gave me a 2wd parts truck. This is hard to explain, but ill try. The lower edge of the fender near the cab to where it starts curving up is about 10" long on the 2wd one. It is about 4" long on the 4wd one. The 4wd one has more clearance. My mud flaps almost hit the tire with the 2wd fender w/ 31 in tires.

P.S. the measurings are accurate, i just ran out and measured em.

Read the parts books and you'll see what I mean. There are only 2 fenders listed and there's no mention of 4x4 in the listing. It depends on tire size, not 2wd or 4wd. I've been a Ford parts manager for 20 years, so I know the quirks of the parts books.

ok, sorry guys. I had looked in *** and they only listed 2wd fenders. I thought that that meant they didnt list "4 wd" fenders. Ok it all makes sense now, and also. Could i get a link to the fender with more wheel clearance??

You need a fender off the F-250-F-350 that use a 17.5 or 19.5 fender. They have the larger wheel opening.

fenders

The the fenders you are talking about are called tall boy's. The wheel opening is about 3 inches taller.
