So from research:
Sundowner is 81" between fender wells with 7k axles and 79" with 8k axles
Cimarron is 79" with 7k and 74 3/4" with 8k.

Also found out that they do spread axles for toy haulers to put less weight on the pin. They also rotate the axles and put a lift on them to give them 6" extra ground clearance
