Question Blind spot issue - trailer setup

I have a 2018 F15 with max tow. When setting up the trailer everything seems to go properly. I set up my "conventional" trailer with all the measurements. Back up assist works normally. but the Blind Spot does not stay on; when I try to reactivate it in the change trailer settings, I get the response that there is no conventional trailer. This is strange since the back up assist continues to work properly, which requires the trailer to be conventional. I'm at a loss as to what I am doing wrong...any help would be appreciated. (just to note, it did work at one time and just stopped working.)

Hmmm.. My 16 always notifies me that BLIS will be turned off with the trailer hooked up, but I think it is a limitation of the 16 model that was later addressed.

On the '18s Blind spot is supposed to work with a trailer connected. If it was working then just quit I would take it to the Ford house!
