When you are trying to select it, is your trailer connected or disconnected? I had more success with this when the trailer is connected. If that doesn’t work, then cycle the ignition on then off with trailer connected and see if it recognizes it then.

It only allow you to edit a trailer when connected, and then to select it must be less than 27 feet in order to have BLIS. It also must be a conventional trailer.

Go into your basic, non trailer settings, and make sure the blis for trailer is checked, Ill go to my truck and get better, info and a picture in a minute. Took me a while to figure that out, fund it with help from some one here. It some how gets unchecked.

Ahh....so it's tied to BLIS for trailer being selected?? During trailer setup, it asks the length of trailer and anything over 32'(?) feet automatically turns off BLIS. That must be the problem because my TT is 35'...I get all the way through set up and then nothing other than the 'no convetional trailer' message.

Now...I wonder how poorly the system works if I override the trailer BLIS to be on by starting my trailer is only 32'? All other measurements seem to work fine. Note that I would likely only 'trick' the system to confirm this is the problem.

My trailer is now in winter storage so I won't know until early next year.

I had the same issue tonight when connecting my conventional pull dump trailer. This worked for me. Thanks wb6anp!
