So on a '22 f350 with a leveling kit I'm wanting to run 12.50 / 35-20 tires. I don't mind them setting slightly outside the wheel lip moldings but I don't want to see a bunch of tire outside.
In the wheel I'd like to get my offset options in 10" wide 20's are -10, -12 and -25. are any of these going to get me where I want to be without any clearance issues ?
They also make them in 9" width with zero offset or + 10 offset. I'd rather go with 10" if possible.
While I waiting for my new duty to arrive I spent quite a bit of time researching this. I found that anything with a negative offset will stick out of the wheel well. I too want to run a 1250 but want a 9" rim. I feel a +12 offset will have about a 1/4" of tread sticking out. A +1 offset would have closer to an inch of tread sticking out. I am not going to run fender flares but rather bulletproof long john mudflaps. A 10" wheel will have the tread sticking out just a hair more.
Yikes I don't want an inch outside. 1/4' I can live with.
I don't see much in a 10" with positive offset, maybe it's because of clearance. the book says a 12.50 will work on a 9' but it's not ideal. the stock 20" wheel is 9" correct ?
Been on this since my 22 was ordered a couple months ago
As far as lift, 1-1/2" is all that's needed since the bed has been lowered for 22 (assuming a 35" tire)
From experience, with the previous generation SD's at least, I ran with +20 0ffset on 10" wide rims with no issues although kind of close to the radius arm
The biggest advantage IMHO is the tire was proud of the fender by at most 1/2", keep in mind this is on a factory two-tone paint
The bigger problem is trying to figure what wheel to pull the trigger on, there's alot out there
My wheels are 18x9 +12 offset and they stick out about 1/2-3/4”. 37x12.50 tires. They stick out just enough to make my truck extra dirty when it’s wet out. If I did it again, ide look for a +20 offset.
In the Grid wheel I like a 20x9 with a +15 offset is he most tucked in they make. so from what you're saying that would be close to flush since I have the fender moldings.

If you have the fender moldings, a +15 would be tucked for sure.

12.50 is ideal for a 9. They recommend 9.5 or 10+ for a 13.50 and 15.50. Get a 9 with no less than a +6 or +10 (+12 or +18 even better for what you want) and you won't have much tire sticking out past fenders. Stock wheels are 8 inch. I have 20 x 9 with 37 x12.50 +18 and they stick out maybe 1/2 inch.
To get what you are after, go with a 9" wide wheel with a positive offset. the lower the offset, the more the wheel/tire will stick out. you can also look at 11.5" wide tires.
the stock 285s on tremor wheels that are 8" wide with +40 offset are nearly flush with the fenders (no flares)

I'm looking at a Set that has the -12 mm i thought this made them sit wide over a + offset ?
