Cab swap
Looking forward once I get past all of my current issues. As a spring project I'm looking to swap my cab (crew cab). My rockers are gone, cab corners gone, even get a little moisture under the drivers side carpet. As I'm shopping around, I've come across a bunch of options, and some cabs with full interior. My question is, what issues will I run into if I were to get, say a 2008 cab? The cab is basically the same, but I'm assuming that there may be some subtle, yet pain in the butt changes. Dash issues? ECM mounting? I see an 08 locally that looks like it was a gasser, but the price is right. But not if it's gonna add a ton of work and expense. I have seen that some guys have installed an 08 style interior in their 2001ish trucks.

There is going to be some differences...what they are and how many of them I have no idea. I can tell you that the 04-07 6.0 cabs are different where the PCM resides on the 99-03 7.3 cab.
