My lights were all working fine on the way hole from fishing last night. I dropped the trailer and was unloading gear from the back with my park lights on and the license plate lights and tail lights shut off. I then noticed dash lights and mirror/front park lamps are also not working. I checked fuses under steering column and they were good but I switched them out anyway and still no change. Is there something I’m missing here? Researching this turns up an array of different scenarios but nothing specific to my year model Excursion. Trucks have different fuse locations. Some state there is a non serviceable relay in the CJB? There has to be a simple fix for this other than breaking out a meter and spending all day tracing wires.
I’m going to locate a “new” headlight switch and see if that does the trick. This happened about a year ago and flipping the lights to AUTO and back on to the right fixed it. Something about a non-serviceable relay in the CJB?

Those are all part of the parking lamp circuit.

Might be the switch. Can't know for sure unless you doe the actual troubleshooting or, if you're feeling luck, replace the switch.
The non-replaceable relay is not an issue on your SUV.

I have a boat job to finish tomorrow then I’m going to dig into this issue and try to hunt down this gremlin. Before buying a new switch I will get the volt meter out and check it. If it’s good I’ll start at the trailer light plug, tail lights and work my way forward. I have a transmission swap to do soon as well.
Start at the light switch and verify power feed from fuse F17 is good, TN/WH wire. If your headlights work normally, this feed is good.
Verify the BN wire is HOT in PARK/HEAD positions. If not, replace headlight switch.
The feed from the switch goes to the CJB where it splits three ways. One activates the trailer tow parking lamp relay, one services the front half of the vehicle, the other feeds the rear. You should be able to verify the feed from the switch into the CJB by monitoring the relay for clicking while turning the headlight switch alternately between OFF and PARK. There is no need to start at the rear and work forward in this case.
