7.3 Batter Cables?
i hear about others using welder cable. What do you suggest and does it matter if I get it local or online?
also, the terminal connections…lots of people using marine connections and military style connections…planning to make this truck a welding rig in the future. What do y’all suggest? What have y’all used?
on a budget so I’m not wanting to buy a $300 set of new cables from all these diesel sites

Other links found in that thread probably have even more answers, some for questions you dont even know to ask yet. Be prepared to go down a rabbit hole.
EDIT: The living FTE index (@Sous) beat me to it. He claims he saves links for stuff like this, secretly I think he's a bot and just pulls it out of that memory bank that he calls a brain.
Get welding cable (I think it is size 00 hat I used?). I started from scratch and dont regret it one bit. It is much more pliable to work with. Making your own, you can change the length a bit to get a better fit/routing if you feel it is necessary. You mention setting your rig up as a welding truck, so I assume you know a bit about how fastening the connectors to the wiring. A half a$$ connection pretty much negates the advantage you have with nice wire. The raw wire isnt cheap, but you should be able to rattle off something for less than the $300 you note.

I made all my own copper terminals with copper tubing pressed flat and drilled with a step bit and used a hydraulic crimper on the cable ends.
Then I used 1 inch heat shrink with the adhesive to seal up the cable ends.
My truck will start in about 5 seconds with only the driver side battery connected instead of 2-3 seconds with both batteries.
