7.3 IDI Flywheel

I recently bought a 93 7.3 IDI and noticed a bad rattling under the truck in neutral while idling. I did some research and quickly found out it was likely a bad dual-mass flywheel. I tore it apart, got the flywheel out and it is definitely worn out. My question is what do I replace it with? I've read many threads on here on whether to stick with dual-mass or switch to the newer single mass conversion kits. After a lot of research, I would like to stick with a dual-mass but I've come to find out that no one makes them anymore and the only one I could manage to find was at advance auto for $1800. It's hard to pay such a high price when most single-mass kits cost around $500 for the better ones. Does anyone have any tips?

No one reinstalls DMF kits in these or really any vehicles for a multitude of reasons.

Luk makes a SMF kit for about $300 plus freight. Use that and fill trans from top with an extra quart. Get on with life.

That IDI is not going to be much louder with a SMF.
