7.3 flywheel

Will a SMF from a 7.3idi bolt on a 6.9 with any problems or balance issuses? For a zf5-42.

I think you've got that backwards, don't you?

I thought the 7.3s had the DMFs. I know that the 6.9s had a SMF.....

Could be an aftermarker SMF upgrade..... and yes they are 100% interchangeable

Looking for a solid flywheel for my truck

Will a SMF from a Powerstroke 7.3 fit onto a 1990 7.3 IDI? Or better yet - Does anyone have a solid steel flywheel that I can buy kind of cheap so I can get my 1990 back together after the auto-standard conversion? My wife's getting kind of overly-curious about why my truck is all apart and parked in her spot still after three months.

Thanks guys. I have a shot at a zf with a hydraulic pto out of a 1990 F-SuperDuty . Flywheel and clutch setup too for $450. I'll beg, borrow, or steal to get it now that I know it'll work.
