Cracked my windshield pretty bad a month ago, had my glass guy come by to get a replacement (Insurance covers it) He finally showed up today t6o do a different job and I asked when he was going to replace my f%^&(#@ windshield, and he said it is not available through his supplier. So, who has a line on quality new windshields?
After a bit of searching I found a local auto glass shop but before ordering the windshield I checked with the shop to determine whether I could have the glass shipped to their shop but found they had their source and added it to the cost of the installation. I provided the gasket and watched them install the windshield using a sealant. This was several years ago and there have been no leaks.Very pleased with results.
A local glass shop got me one within the last year and at a reasonable price, and they had it within a few days. No idea where they sourced it but another shop had said they couldn't get one at the same time. I'm on the opposite coast though so who knows. I'd call around to some other shops. I installed it with my brother's help and a new DC gasket.
Ah just noticed you're in SoCal, so there is National Parts Depot in Ventura and C&G Ford Parts in Escondido. Not certain if either of them have your windshield but they do stock F100 parts.
I just replaced my windshield on my 64. couldn't get it from my local shop. their routers couldn't transfer because of covid. I wound up getting one from NPD. Wound up paying more for truck freight than what I paid for the glass. A buddy who installed glass came over and helped me put it in. And by the way most replacement glass is made outside of the US. It fits fine and isn't wavey like the glass in new US cars.
Try a local collision repair shop. I got one from a local shop for $90 + $5 extra for insurance to cover it if it broke during installation. The first one showed up with a chip in the edge and the insurance replaced it no questions asked.

I work at a local collision shop... And I'm the guy they would have looking for it. Ironic? Maybe.
The Truck & Car Shop in Orange CA show them in stock but the prices seem a little whack... $299 for tinted and shaded... $375 for clear. Seems crazy, maybe I am just out of touch.... Sanders Reproduction Glass shows a price of $185 for shaded... They are in Vancouver WA... https://www.sandersreproglass.com

Last one I bought was only about a hundred. Although insurance is paying.
I just replaced the windshield in my 66. I called some of the local glass shops and none of them even wanted to touch it. Too old..?..
I ended up ordering a clear one from NPD for $165. The freight cost was the kicker at $175. I put it in myself without any issues.
