I have a 2004 F250 Super Duty, the battery is being drained by the light (auxiliary) in cab as well as back of cab staying on. The light on the dash shows doors not shut all the time. Any help would be appreciated.
It sounds like you might have one or more faulty switches that indicate that your doors are closed. I would start by diagnosing the driver door since it gets the most use. The switch is telling the rest of the truck that the door is open, which keeps those lights on.
The switches are attached to the door latch assembly on each door. You should be able to pull off your interior door panel and then find wiring that goes to the door latch mechanism. With the door open, unplug the wiring harness from the latch mechanism and use a Digital multimeter to see if the switch is open by checking continuity between the two posts on the plug. You can then use a screwdriver to actuate the latch, simulating that you have closed the door, and then check the switch again. If there is no change between door "open" and door "closed", then you likely need to replace that switch. Make sure to get the switch for the correct year because Ford seemingly changed things from normally open to normally closed on those switches on some different year trucks. The switch itself isn't very expensive (~$15 at Oreillyauto.com) but you will have to remove the door latching mechanism from the door to replace the switch.
