Need Help with Fuel pumps

I'm looking at upgrading things on my 1993 f350 7.5L my dad and i will be doing a new cam, rocker arms, valve seals, intake manifold, from what I understand I will also need to upgrade my injectors from 24lbs to either 26 to 30lbs and that I would need fuel pumps that can handle that but I cannot find any performance electrical fuel pump they are all mechanical. is that the only option is mechanical and if so what all needs to be done to use mechanical from my factory electrical pumps. do i also need to find a new ecm? or just find a programmable tuner to plug in or something.

IMO the stock fuel pump can handle your fuel demands.

Your truck is Speed Density so it won't take much cam to mess things up. You should look into converting to Mass Air which will allow such modifications.

A mechanical fuel pump will not work with the EFI system your truck currently has. There are replacement electric fuel pumps that increase the output from ~190 LPH to 255 LPH and beyond. You probably will not need to do that until you get past the roughly 325 flywheel horsepower range. There is no simple plug in tuner for this vintage truck. There are aftermarket add-ons but it requires a lot more work. There is also the option to use the Stinger Performance PimpX system which is tunable using a laptop. All of these require a hefty investment.

Be aware the factory 7.5L EFI heads are not known to flow a lot of air. Anything you do will be a band-aid fix until you address the heads.

Some good reading here on what an expert head porter can do: 1996 F250 460 baseline dyno results and head porting-RESULTS ARE IN!
