I hope that you and yours are safe right now. Seeing the reports coming out of BEU, it’s already getting scary.

I only wish that I had an open flame for spit roasting pigs. My home oven, is just a home oven. Barely big enough to make a small pizza. Which is what we had for dinner tonight. Thick crust. Tomato sliced thin, so that it becomes the sauce as it cooks. Coarse chopped garlic. Green Onion. Basically it's a pizza made with leftovers in the refrigerator. Stuff I would have to throw out by Monday if I didn't do something with it today. It starts off the same as when I make bread. I put the dough ball onto this weird round pan with handles, and it doubles in size. Then I press the dough into the shape of the pan. It's a strange pan that I've had around the house for decades. People keep trying to steal it by borrowing and forgetting to return it. I've had to drive to several relatives' and friends' homes, and wait in their driveways, demanding that they return it. Apparently, it's not made anymore. And everyone wants mine.
I have been making personal pizzas on slices of sour dough bread. We made a hot pepper pesto kind of stuff this fall, it turned out really good. I use that for the sauce and use lift overs for the toppings. Brisket pizza on sour dough is one of my favorites.
Try making the dough. It's actually pretty easy. I used to make bread as kid when we went camping. Then I started buying the little bag of premade dough from Trader Joe's. Really good stuff and a bargain for $1.29. With the pandemic, when we were on "lock down", I started doing it with water, yeast, and dough again. Just like I remembered it. Water. Yeast. Flour.

Will, I think Glue Guy is pretty far from The Colorado Canyon Fire. From what I recall, he is somewhere up around Skyline and 84, or something like that. At least I hope he isn't near that fire.
