seen that thread ...mine doesn't sound like that under the hood...or even under the truck..only in the cab..right side. It really is maddening. Just wondering if maybe it engine noise reverberating through the cab somehow

Mine in on the driver side. I'll have to open the hood again and see if I can hear on the intake manifold to double check.. but it needs to get a little warmer out
